IBBL Rajshahi Zone holds special Business Development Conference
Rajshahi Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized special Business Development Conference virtually on 16 June 2020, Tuesday. Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank addressed the conference as chief guest. Mohammed Monirul Moula, Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors of the Bank addressed the conference as special guests. Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, AAM Habibur Rahman, Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors, Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Abul Faiz Muhammad Kamaluddin, Mohammed Shabbir, Md. Mahboob Alam, Muhammad Sayeed Ullah and G.M. Mohd. Gias Uddin Quader, Senior Executive Vice Presidents also addressed the conference. Presided over by Md. Kawsar-ul-Alam, Head of Rajshahi Zone, Head of Branches under the zone attended the conference.

Md. Mahbub ul Alam said that, human being is passing the most difficult and unprecedented time. Islami Bank has been conducting its banking activities according to the national policy guidelines, he added. He expressed his gratitude for the sincere, timely and prudent decision of the Honorable Prime Minister since the very beginning of the current situation to keep the amount of loss at a minimum level. He thanked all the officials of Bangladesh Bank including the Governor for giving timely direction to the banking sector.

He said, the purpose of the conference is to determine the strategies to be followed by the bankers at the field level in this time of crisis to secure and ensure their lives and livelihood. He said, Islami Bank is working for the overall development of the country through human welfare and improving of living standards. As the largest and strongest bank in the country, Islami Bank has been providing professional and sincere services to the people through its branches as well as its more than one thousand of agent banking outlets. Expressing satisfaction over the growth in deposit and remittance collection, he said, “this achievement has been possible for trust and confidence of expatriates, clients, well-wishers and people toward Islami Bank, sincere service of the bank''''s employees and timely guidance of competent board of directors." He called upon all to bring welfare-oriented modern banking services to the doorsteps of the people through the expansion of Islamic Banking.
