K.M. Munirul Alam Al-Mamoon, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Internal Control & Compliance Wing, Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC.

Mr. K.M. Munirul Alam Al-Mamoon is a banker with over three decades of experience at Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC. He joined the Bank in 1992 as a Probationary Officer and has held various key leadership positions across trade finance, branch operations, corporate banking, and institutional training.

He currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director and Head of the Internal Control & Compliance Wing, where he leads strategic oversight in regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and governance practices.

Mr. Mamoon holds an MBA in Finance from North South University and an M.A. in Islamic Studies from National University. He is also a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) and has completed professional Diplomaed Associate of the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (DAIBB) and DIB-II.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mamoon participated in numerous international training programs and conferences in the USA, Switzerland, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Uzbekistan. His depth of knowledge and leadership in Islamic banking, foreign trade, and institutional development continues to add significant value to the Bank.
