Muhammad Sayeed Ullah, Deputy Managing Director, an experienced and dynamic banker with post graduate certificate in Human Resources Management is now the Head of Human Resources Wing of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC along with the additional portfolio as Chief Risk Officer of the Bank.

He earlier performed his assignment as Head of Special Asset Management Division of Standard Bank PLC for a short course of time successfully. Before joining the Standard Bank PLC, he passed his long career as Head of AD & Corporate Branches, Head of Sylhet Zone, Head of Dhaka North Zone, Head of Assets Management Division, Investment Management Wing (comprising of four divisions like Investment Recovery Division, Investment Control Division, Investment Monitoring Division & Legal Affairs Division) and Retail Investment Wing-II(comprising of three divisions like RC&REID, Agriculture Division and Rural Development Division) of IBBPLC.  

In his long career of more than two decades in IBBPLC, he played an important role as a significant member of RMCC, IRMC, 5 years perspective plan committee, ICC communication committee, Member Secretary of Central Supervision & Monitoring Committee (SMC) & SMU, Investment Committee (IC) and Management Committee (MANCOM).

He gathered much experience to finance in Industrial, Commercial, Real Estate, Agriculture and Foreign Exchange business. He attended several training programmes offered by reputed organizations in the country. He also participated in different training courses on Banking/ Economics in Singapur, China and Malaysia.

He participated more than 30 national training programs and achieved several international professional degree like Mentor’600 & FIT (Finance of International Trade) from International Chamber of Commerce - ICC, Future CEO certificate Training course from WSDA, Newzeland.    

Muhammad Sayeed Ullah, son of the former Head Muhadith of Pabna Alia Madrasha, was born in a reputed Muslim Family of Pabna. He is highly committed, accountable, energetic, decent and dynamic banker especially in exploring business opportunities and proactive in handling of Banking Challenges.
