Abu Sayed Md. Idris, Senior Executive Vice President leads the SME Investment Wing of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC.

Mr. Idris is a senior banker having 31 years’ hands-on experience in banking industry. Prior to his present position, he served as Head ofDhaka South Zone, Mymensingh Zone and Rangpur Zone. He also served the Bank as Head of differentBranches including Corporate Branch and AD Branch. He started his career in 1992as Probationary Officer in Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited.

Mr. Idrisholds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southeast University and B. A. (Hons.), M. A. In Public Administration from Dhaka University. He is a Diplomaed Associate of the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (DAIBB).

Mr. Idris visited Italy, Indonesiaand KSA to participate in different Training Courses,Seminars, Conferences and Workshops.
