Appointment of Field Officer
Field Officers are appointed by the Head Office of the Bank. After recruitment, the Field Officers have to undergo compulsory Foundation Training for a period of two weeks so that they can perform satisfactory. They are appointed well ahead of starting operation of the Scheme in a Branch. The concerned Branch starts operation of the Scheme after satisfactory completion of the base- line survey, formation of the Groups, motivation of the Group members and compliance of the Group disciplines etc. The eligible criteria for the Field Officers are the followings:

a. Young man with initiative and drive.

b. Minimum qualification: graduate or equivalent.

c. Willingness to work in the rural areas.

d. They are recruited as per Recruitment Policy of the Bank under a separate ‘Service Rules for the RDS Employees’.

e. Their services are confirmed after one year on satisfactory performance. The performance are considered satisfactory if rate of recovery is 95% or above.
