IBBL has introduced its Internet Based Banking service namely as iBanking service since last year. Registration is required. For registration please goto iBanking. Click on the New registration option. Read the instruction carefully before applying for this service.
Services: Through this service customers will be able to get the following services:
Registration Process : IBBL iBanking registration process consist of three steps: 1. Filling up Registration form online by client 2. Verify and Approve by branch 3. Activate account by client If any of the above mentioned steps is NOT properly done, then we treat the application as incomplete registration. After finishing these above three steps, customer will be able to log-in to the system with his username and password. More about Registration procedure <click here>

To be a registered member of the SMS Banking/ iBanking Service, the interested member must physically deliver the properly filled up form to any branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. Upon proper verification from the Bank’s side, the actual service activation can take up to a maximum span of seven regular working days to complete after which the applicant can actually use this service.
In case the applicant wants to avail this service for a business account, Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. will, at it’s discretion and proper signature verification accept the Application Form signed by the authorized signatories of the Account holder only.
The Account Holder is solely responsible to how he/she uses the service. In case of abuse of this service because either of being lost, sold, theft or anything unforeseen otherwise Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. cannot be held responsible for charges incurred. In case of the aforementioned situations, it is completely the Account Holder’s sole responsibility to immediately deactivate or bar the service temporarily.
Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. cannot be held responsible for any payments through this service as long as there is a SMS sent from the authorized phone number to carry on the service, payment or command. Through this platform I also agree to receive any banking or non-banking product promotional information.
Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the service anytime without mentioning any cause whatsoever to the account holder. Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. can make necessary changes to the terms & conditions anytime they want without letting the account holder know about them at a before-mentioned date. Please periodically review the terms & conditions to be clear about what govern the service.
Exclusion and Exceptions: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited shall not be responsible or liable to any ‘Online Banking Service’ holders for any loss or damage incurred or suffered as a consequence of:
o Any malfunction, defect or error in any computer, or other machine or Online Banking system of login belonging to or operated by Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited or otherwise; or
o Any delay or inability of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited to perform any of its obligations pursuant to this Agreement because of any mechanical, data processing or telecommunication failure, Act of God, civil disturbance or any event outside of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited control or as a consequence of any fraud or forgery; or
o Any undesired fraud and forgery by means of computer hacking or any means that causes for any burden to the account holder.
Conclusiveness of Documents and Certificates: o Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited shall be entitled to rely upon and to treat any document relating to any ‘Online Banking’ transaction with the signature of the account holder as conclusive evidence of the ‘Online Banking’ transaction as therein stated or recorded was authorized and properly made or effected by the ‘Online Banking Services’ holder.
o Any error or inaccuracy in any ‘Online Banking Service’ statement shall be notified in writing to Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited within 7 days from the date of issue of the statement.
Set off and Consolidation: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited may at any time and without prior notice or demand combine or consolidate any and all accounts maintained by an ‘Online Banking Services’ holder with Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and or set off or transfer any sum outstanding to the credit in any or all such accounts in or towards the discharge or payment or any or all sums due to Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited from the ‘Online Banking Services’ holder on any ‘Online Banking’ account or under this agreement and the right herein conferred shall be exercisable notwithstanding that the use of the ‘Online Banking’ account is not terminated.
Amendments: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited may at any time amend any of these terms and conditions by giving notice to the clients and such amendment(s) shall take effect on the date specified in such notice.
Termination of the contract for availing Online Banking Facility: The contract may be terminated by either side giving 30 days’ prior notice. |
