A meeting of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was held on Wednesday, 30 December 2009 at the Board Room of the Bank at Islami Bank Tower. Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman, Board of Directors of the Bank presided over the meeting. Foreign and Local Directors including Yousif Abdullah Al-Rajhi, representative of Al-Rajhi Company for Industry and Trade, Dr. Abdulhameed Fouad Al-Khateeb of KSA and Wasim Ahmed of Islamic Development Bank were present in the meeting.

The meeting expressed its satisfaction while evaluating the performance of the Bank over the success & progress achieved so far and taking proper step to face different type of challenges and took some important business decision.
