A discussion meeting on ‘‘Islamic Banking Management and Poverty Alleviation’’ was held on 8 September 2009, Tuesday at Instituion of Diploma Engineers, Dhaka organized by Head Office of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited . Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammdad Abduz Zaher, Chairman, Board of Directors of the Bank was present in the function as the Chief Guest Presided over by M. Fariduddin Ahmad, Managing Director of the Bank the key disscussion was presented by Moulana Abdus Shaheed Nasim, Member, Shari`ah Council. Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam, Director of the Bank addressed the meeting Mohd. Shamsul Haque, Deputy Managing Director delivered the welcome speech. Executives, Officials and Staff of all segments of Head Office, IBRTA, Dhaka North, South and Central Zones of the Bank were present in the function.
