Borhanuddin S.M.E. Service Centre of IBBL was inaugurated on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Borhanuddin, Bhola.

The 19th S.M.E. Service Centre of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was inaugurated on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Borhanuddin of Bhola. Hafizul Islam Mian, Director of the Bank inaugurated the S.M.E. Service Center as the Chief Guest. Presided over by M. Fariduddin Ahmad, Managing Director of the Bank the function was attended by Md. Jasimuddin Haidar, Chairman, Zakir Hossain (Shahjada Talukdar) and Mahfuza Ahsan, Vice Chairmen of Borhanuddin Upazila Parishad as Special Guests. The function was addressed among others by Dr. Maulana A.S.M. Torikul Islam, Member of Shari`ah Council & Associate Professor of Dawah Department of Islamic University, Kushtia, Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Investment Wing and A.K.M. Harunur Rashid, Executive Vice President & Head of Barisal Zone of the Bank.

Maulana Mizanur Rahman, Imam of Borhanuddin Bazar Mosque, Hazi Mainuddin, Businessman, Maulana Waliullah, Principal of Borhanuddin Kamil Madrasah and Fazle Rabbi, Principal of Borhanuddin Womens Degree College addressed from among the clients and well wishers.

Hafizul Islam Mian in his speech as Chief Guest said that IBBL is the Bank of the mass people of the country. The main objective of this Bank is betterment of the people of this country. For this reason the Bank has been able to achieve faith of the people of the country and gained the honor of top Bank in short time. He said that IBBL has been working for strengthening the base of the economy of the country and this process will be countinue.

M. Fariduddin Ahmad in his Presidential speech showed deep respect to the people of Borhanuddin and assured of giving expected service. He said, IBBL has continued its speed of advancement inspite of worldwide recession and it was possible only with the help of all. He called upon the people of Borhanuddin to take the service of IBBL.
