‘Tree Plantation Program’ was inaugurated at Narayanganj and Jessore Branches of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited recently under Rural Development Scheme. Principal Moulana Zainul Abedin, Vice Chairman, Board of Directors of the Bank inaugurated Tree Plantation program at Narayanganj and Dr. A K M S Islam inaugurated the program of Jessore as Chief Guest.

The Tree Plantation Program of Narayanganj was addressed as special gusets by Md. Najibur Rahman, Executive Vice President & Head of Dhaka South Zone of the Bank, Commissioner Kamrul Hasan Munna, Dilara Masud Moina and industrialist Shah Wali Ullah. The program was presided over by Md. Saleh Iqbal, Senior Vice President of Narayanganj branch of the Bank. The Chief guest and Special Guests planted saplings near Shahid Nagar Govt. Primary School at the end of the program.

At the program of Jessor branch Md. Mofizul Islam, Principal of Al-Hera Degree College and Maulana Md. Mohiuddin, Superintendent of Hamidpur Dakhil Madrasha were present as Special Guests. Presided over by A B M Mofazzal Husain, Senior Vice President and Head of Khulna Zone of the Bank, the program was addressed by Md. Abdus Sobhan, Vice President and Manager of Jessore branch of the Bank, Md. Shahidul Islam, Second officer of Jessore branch, Fatema Khatun and Shaheda Khatun, members of RDS Hamidpur center and Munshi Md. Badar Uddin from among the local elites.
