Doa Mahfil at the death of M. Jafar Ullah, Executive Vice President

Islami Bank Officers Welfare Association organized a Doa Mahfil on July 6, 2009 Monday, at BCIC Auditorium at the death of M. Jafar Ullah, Executive Vice President of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Director General of Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA) and Abdus Salam, Assistant Vice President of Board Secretariate Division of the Bank. Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman, Board of Directors of the Bank was present in the Doa Mahfil as the Chief Guest. Presided over by M. Fariduddin Ahmad, Managing Director of the Bank Nazir Ahmed, Former Chairman of the Bank and Chaiman of Academic Council of IBTRA and Engr. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman, Executive Committee of the Bank addressed the program as special Guests. The program was attended among others by M. Hafizul Islam Mia and Ataur Rahman, Directors, Mohd. Shamsul Haque, Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Md. Habibur Rahman and Md. Setaur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors, Md. Showkat Ali, Secretary and Executive Vice President of Board Division of the Bank, Asheque Ahmad Jebal, President of Islami Bank Officers Welfare Association, Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Director Research of IBTRA, Md. Shamsuddoha, Assistant Vice President of Shariah Council of the Bank, Abdullah Al Zaid, Eldest son and Mozadded Hasan Tadnan, Son in Law of M. Jafar Ullah. Speakers in the meeting discussed on life of M. Jafrullah and Abdus Salam.

Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher in his speech as Chief Guest said, the two deceased has become a model for us by their silent and tireless work skillfully for development of the beauty of Islamic Banking and Economics in the society. We have to work for more enhancement and firmness of the Model of Islami Banking which is now acceptable to the mass people. He hoped that they will get Jannat as a reward for the Sadakae-Jarihah like Islami Bank they have left for us.

Nazir Ahmed in his speech as Special Guest said, the deseaseds have served the Bank tirelessly till their death. They were conscious about their responsibilities.

Engr. Eskander Ali Khan said, they have left for us imitable example before us by their honesty, integrity and responsibility. This is our duty to be responsible and silent worker like them.
|
|
M. Fariduddin Ahmad in his Presidential speech said, the example of responsibilities they have left for us is immitable.
|
|
Doa-Munajat was conducted praying for salvation of their soul.
