Signing ceremony was held at the board room of Islami Bank Tower on setting up 200 own ATM Booths 500 Remittance and Merchant POS

A triangular and two dual agreements of setting up 200 own ATM Booths and 500 Remittance & Merchant POS were signed recently between Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Aamra Technologies Limited, Bangladesh & Interblocks Limited, Sri Lanka on 16 March 2009, Monday at the Board Room of Islami Bank Tower. Mohd. Shamsul Haque, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Operations Wing of IBBL, Syed Farhad Ahmed, Managing Director of Aamra Technologies Limited and Dinesh Lasantha Rodrigo, Managing Director & CEO of Interblocks Limited signed the agreements on behalf of their respective sides.

Mominul Islam Patwary, Chairman, Executive Committee, A.K.M.S. Islam, Director, M. Fariduddin Ahmad, Managing Director, Mohammad Abdul Mannan & Md. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors of IBBL and other Top Executives and Officials of the related department of these organizations were present in the program.

As a result of this agreement IBBL will set up 200 ATM Booths and 500 Remittance & Merchant POS across the country. Through the ATM & POS the clients of Islami Bank & other banks will get 24 hours fast & secured services of Khidmah Credit Card, Pre-paid Card & Foreign Remittance Card services besides Debit Card Services. At present, the clients of Islami Bank are getting ATM services through 26 ATM Booths in different place of the country.
