A workshop on “Implementation of e-IBS Foreign Exchange Module†organized by International Banking Wing of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was held recently at the Head office of the Bank. M. Fariduddin Ahmad, Managing Director of the Bank was present in the workshop as Chief Guest. Presided over by Md. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Head of International Banking Wing of the Bank, the program was addressed among others by Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam, Executive Vice President and K.M. Munirul Alam Al-Mamun, Vice President of the Bank.

M. Fariduddin Ahmad in his speech as Chief Guest, emphasized on use of Computer and Information Technology for smooth operation of Foreign Exchange business. He urged the officials to contribute for the over all development and advancement of the Bank.

The training program led by Md. Munirul Alam Al-Mamun, the e-IBS Module implementation team presented discussion in different session. Abul Faiz Muhammad Kamaluddin, Assistant Vice President of Information & Communication Technology Division of the Bank presented the practical sides of the software.

Officers of different levels of Authorized Dealer Branches of Dhaka City took part in the workshop.
