Abdul Jabbar Head of the Foreign Remittance Services Division, International Banking Wing of Head Office, Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Head of the Foreign Exchange Department of Local Office, Dhaka and Md. Kabir Hossain, Head of Gulshan Branch of the Bank promoted Executive Vice President
from Senior Vice president of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited recently.

Md. Rafiqul Islam

Md. Rafiqul Islam is discharging as Director (Training) of Islami Bank Training and Research Academy. 1-le started his banking career by joining Sonali Bank as probationary Officer in 1977 and joined in IBBL in 1983 as Officer. He served the Bank in different important ranks including the Branch Manager of Mymensingh and Gazipur. He is trained up from various training institute home and abroad and visited the KSA, India and Srilanka. He obtained MSC Degree in Psychology from Dhaka University. He was born in a respectable family of Chandpur District in 1953.

Md. Shamsuzzaman is discharging as Zonal Head of Comilla. He joined IBBL as Probationary Officer and served the Bank in different important ranks including Brach Incumbent of Chawk Bazar, Dhanmondi, Comilla, and Khatungonj Branch. He is trained up from various training institute home & abroad and visited Thailand, Malaysia Bahrain and the KSA He obtained Masters Degree in Political Science from Chittagong University He was born in a respectable family of Chittagong District in 1957.

Md. Abdul Jabbar is discharging as Head of the Foreign Remittance Services Division, International Banking Wing of Head Office. He joined IBBL as Probationary Officer in 1984 and served the Bank in different important ranks including Brach Incumbent. He is trained up from various training institute specially in Foreign Exhange and remittance. He visited The UK, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Spain, Hong Kong, Thailand and India for attending seminar & workshop. He obtained Masters Degree in Accounting and MBA on Finance from IBA of Dhaka University. He was born in a respectable family in Mymensingh District in 1959.

He joined IBBL as Probationary Officer in 1985 and served the Bank in different important ranks including Branch Incumbent. He trained up from various training institute home and abroad. He visited Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Germany for attending seminar & workshop. He obtained double Masters Degree in Accounting and Management from Dhaka University. He was born in a respectable family of Daulatkhan in Bhola District in 1964.

He visited Hong Kong, China, Macaw, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Bahrain, the UK, the USA and the KSA for attending seminar on Banking. He obtained Masters Degree in Chemistry from Dhaka University. He was born in a respectable family of Comilla District.
