The eighth S.M.E. Service Center of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was inaugurated on Monday December 15. 2008 at Keshorehat of Mohonpur Thaana of Rajshahi. Sarder Md Shahjahan, General Manager of Bangladesh Bank Rajshahi inaugurated the S.M.E. Service Center as the Chief Guest. Presided over by Principal Moulana Zainul Abedin, Vice- Chairman, Board of Directors of the Bank the function was attended ABM Sadek, Deputy General Manager of Bangladesh Bank Rajshahi & Md Shahiduzzaman Shahid, Mayor of Keshorehat Municipality as the special guests and addressed among others by Moulana Muhiuddin Rabbani, Member of Shari’ah Council of the Bank & Muhaddis of Foizul Ulum Madrasha, Mohd. Shamshul Hoque Deputy Managing Director and Head of Operations Wing of the Bank, Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Execujive Vice President & Head of Rajshahi Zone of the Bank. Alhaz Abdur Rahman, Proprietor of M/s Rahman Traders and Moulana Abdul Kader, Principal of Shakoa Batshoil Senior Kamil Madrasha addressed the function from among the local elites.
